Need To Find A Canon Powershot Sd890 Is?
The Canon Powershot SD890 IS Digital Camera is a fairly new camera released in March. For the casual photographer who takes a pic once in a while, it's a bit expensive.
We were fascinated by the myriad of features in this canon ultra compact so we decided to talk to some digital photography experts and let a couple of our reviewers take this Canon Powershot SD890 IS Digital Camera out into the field and put it through its paces.
This ten megapixel canon brand camera promises unbelievable picture resolutions. Ten megapixels are important when you like to print out big renditions of your photos. The lower levels of megapixels in certain cameras tend to turn images grainy when printed in huge scale.
Unlike other canon powershot models which are made mostly out of plastic, the Canon Powershot SD890 IS digital camera is mostly made of metal and is considered to be one of the biggest and weightiest cameras in the "compact" digital camera category, especially for the zoom quality you get. The camera has a 5x zoom, allowing you high quality resolutions on objects that are pretty far away.
While you won't get full manual control over the Canon Powershot SD890 IS digital camera, it does have a large variety of shooting styles or modes. We particularly liked the focus check display mode on this canon. This feature identifies faces in the playback mode and then zooms in on them which grants the camera's user to make sure that the faces are in focus.
The lack of manual control is frustrating for individuals who don't like shooting in a pre-set style. While it is true that there are plenty of pre-set options in place on this Canon powershot model, someone who wants to have absolute control over image exposure might want to take into account buying another of the Canon Digital Cameras.
The Canon SD890 IS does take a special manufactured battery. They're usually more costly then most digital cam batteries. They're rechargeable but keep in mind that recharging can take up to 2 full hours. So make sure you plan ahead if you're going to do some serious shooting. Otherwise you'll need to spend some extra bucks on backup batteries to keep you going while you're in the field.
And finally…after putting the Canon Powershot SD890 IS Digital Camera through its paces, one of our reviewers had this to say: This is a great camera in a small package, which makes it great for people who don't want to have to lug around a large camera just to get a quality shot. The Canon Powershot SD890 IS digital camera is the best of both worlds: professional quality photographs from a point-and-shoot pocket sized camera."
