This high ratio zoom lens is \r\n incorporated with Sigma’s original OS (Optical \r\n Stabilizer) function and exclusively designed \r\n for digital SLR cameras. It is perfectly \r\n suitable for low light conditions, indoors, at \r\n dusk and telephoto range. SLD (Special Low \r\n Dispersion) glass and aspherical glass provide \r\n excellent correction for all types of \r\n aberrations. This lens has a minimum focusing \r\n distance of 45cm (17.7”) throughout the entire \r\n zoom range and has a maximum magnification of \r\n 1:3.9. The inner focusing system is suitable for \r\n using a petal-type lens hood supplied and also \r\n circular polarizing filters.

Sigma’s own unique \r\n technology OS (Optical Stabilizer) \r\n function
The 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 OS is \r\n equipped with Sigma’s own very special OS (Optical \r\n Stabilizer) technology.? This system uses \r\n two sensors inside the lens to detect vertical \r\n and horizontal movement of the camera by moving \r\n an optical image stabilizing lens group, to \r\n effectively compensate for camera shake.? \r\n It also automatically detects movement of the \r\n camera and compensate for camera shake when \r\n shooting moving subjects such as motor \r\n sports.
