Pentax K-5: Solid Specs but will it be enough?

The Pentax K-5, the interchangeable lens digital SLR camera, was announced on Monday Sept 21, 2010. Unlike the previous Pentax release, when I got to see red with the Pentax K-r, the Pentax K-5 is a much more serious and solid offering. With more advanced features and a list of very reasonable specs, it is obvious that Pentax is still very keen trying to fight for its market share.

The Pentax K-5 was designed based on the Pentax K-7, which has a more professional body and specs, and we won’t expect  to see the Pentax K-5 will be released with colourful body like the K-r, or even white colour like the K-x. Let’s take a look of the preview picture below and its specs.
