I never really gave much thought to digital camcorders because I was never worried about taping much of anything, and the tape-less type of recording seemed a bit flimsy to me. I guess it is because I am used to tape, as most of us are, and digital recording is rather new. My still camera takes video, but I often find it is not enough. When I first priced the camcorders, the prices were just too high. However, recently, I have noticed that the prices are coming down and it seems that now one might just be affordable for us to have.rnrnBecause my experience with digital camcorders is limited, I’m not sure what I’m looking for. If you ask me what to look for in a digital camera, I have the ability to tell you right off the bat. I would guess the needs and fixtures would be about the same, but the memory needed would be much higher. Most who want digital camcorders should expect to film as long as they need without having to worry too much about how much space they’ve left and if they are going to run out of memory just when they need it the most.rn
