Olympus Digital cameras offer a great variety of different zoom, lenses and mega pixels. Whether amateur or professional you will appreciate the Olympus camera. I\’ve a FE-100 with 4.0 mega pixels and zoom of 8.2-17.4mm1-3.0.5.0 and have taken many pictures with it. It has a memory card I purchased for it and it takes more photos than I\’ve ever used at one trip. We went Elk hunting this year and I took 107 photos of our camp, the mountains, a bull moose with a cow and a calf, many deer and some massive horn sheep. I took scenery picture while were on the move and they looked good. My Grandchildren borrowed the camera and took it snow boarding and took some great aerial pictures of them doing jumps and tricks on there snow boards. I was real surprised that they came out so good. Full and Color and you felt like you were right in the action if you closed your eyes and thought about it.
\nI came home downloaded them onto my Personal and e-mailed them to all my family and friends. They thought they were the best pictures I’ve ever taken. So this camera offers more than an amateur could use but can use. It\’s a great camera for anyone who wants a good digital camera, whether for allot of features or just a few, Olympus offers a good variety. If you get a Olympus camera, I would advocate buying the memory card for it also, as it give you allot of photos you wouldn\’t get to take without it.
\nDepending on what size and features you\’re looking for. There are many styles and sizes to select from. The Olympus Sp700-6.0 mega pixels Digital Camera with 3x zoom & 3.0 LCD Screen, the Olympus American Stylus 500+P-10 Digital Photo Printer, the 4.0 MP Digital Camera with 1.8” Color LCD Screen and 3x optical zoom,12x total zoom ability, and the Olympus 225600 Camera Ir-300 5.0Mp 3x Optical Zoom Digital Camera Olympus c-7000 Zoom Digital Camera.

digital video – How To Shoot Good Digital Video With Your Camcorder
Have you just acquired the subject but are unsure how to get the best use out of it? Do you want one but don't know if it would be the right thing for you?
Have a look at the article below. We are sure it will point you in the right direction. Based on our feedback so far, it has helped hundreds of our readers. While you are here, have a look at some of the other articles as they, too, are filled with advice and tips on how to avoid the common mistakes.
Let me tell you from experience how important it is to know how to shoot good digital video with your camcorder before going on that vacation or filming that large event. When I was getting married my sister offered to film the happy day for me with her new camcorder, I agreed as it would save money on the wedding as a videographer could get quite pricey.
\nLet me tell you how wrong I was, the digital video was dark, shaky and blurred anytime she went into zoom or moved around the room. The sound was off and muffled and it was more of a headache to watch rather than a joy. In a nutshell, I wish I spent money on a good digital video shooting.
\nI don’t want people to make the same mistake that I did so to spread the word on my learning experience I would like to pass on some great tips on how to shoot good digital video with your Minidv camcorder.
\nTip #1 – Don\’t record while walking or moving about as the digital camcorder can\’t stay focused on a moving object. Choose a place to stand and start by recording a starting point for a few seconds before moving onto the next object. Slowly and carefully pan the camcorder to the next point of focus and hold there for a few more seconds before you stop shooting.
\nTip #2 – Avoid excessive zooming of objects, not only does it kill the camcorder battery faster, it can give the viewers a crazy headache. If there were a moment you’d like to catch up close, stand still and take your time while zooming and shooting video, also try to avoid any quick motions, as the image will blur.
\nTip #3 – Make sure that the lighting around you is bright enough and do not point the camcorder lens directly facing sunlight, not only can this damage the video camera lens, it will also blacken the images making for an unpleasant motion picture. If you plan to be indoors, I recommend you invest in a camcorder light attachment that can easily be put onto the video camera and turned on if needed.
\nTip #4 – Last but not least, my favorite camcorder accessory by far has to be a Tripod. You can buy a cheap little mini table tripod for simple videos or you can invest in a more massive stand up tripod for longer shooting of video. By using a tripod when recording, you can be assured that your images won\’t be shaky nor will the motion picture look amateur.

digital – Great Digital Photos in Three Easy Steps
If you would like to know more about the subject - then you will want to read this article. It includes plenty of information about this subject that is sure to help you better understand the ins and outs that seem to confuse most people. It really does not have to be difficult to understand.
The information that follows is one way to look at this information, and after reading the article you are free to form your own opinion. Whether or not you agree with the subject matter is up to you, and you are certainly free to make up your own mind about the material presented here.
Are you disappointed with the results of your new digital camera? Did you pay extra to get the latest giga pixel camera with all the bells and whistles? And yet, your digital prints do not look like you expected? Do your prints lack detail? Is the subject all white or over exposed? Do you feel like getting your old 35mm film camera back out? Here is a few tips and tricks that might help improve the quality of your digital prints.
\nLet\’s begin by trying to get those digital photos as sharp as possible. First, make sure that your camera is set to the highest resolution and quality setting. Once you have done this, forget that your camera has the ability to choose a lower quality setting. Your images might look nice and the preview screen on the back of the camera, but you will find it is much different when you try to make a digital print. This will also ensure that when you take that once-in-a-lifetime photo you\’ve plenty of resolution to blow it up. Another setting that affects the amount of detail image is ISO. A lower ISO setting will have less noise and look much better. Some cameras automatically adjust the ISO for you depending on the lighting situation.
\nNext make sure that you are not too close to your subject. While many digital cameras can focus and extremely close distances, they can\’t handle flash as close. For most point-and-shoot cameras the minimum distance for the flash is 3 to 4 feet. You will want to check your camera manual to be sure what the minimum distance is. Any closer than this, and the flash will provide too much light on the subject. This will over exposed subject, causing it to be white and ghostly. It is very difficult or impossible to mend an over exposed digital image. Also remember that flash also has a maximum range. For many digital point-and-shoot cameras this is around 12 feet. Much farther and the flash will not provide enough light for a good exposure. The ISO setting on the camera also affects the flash range.
\nFinally let\’s look at the way you hold your camera and compose the picture. Believe it or not, there is a right way and a wrong way to hold your camera. You need to make sure that you can hold the camera as steady as possible. This usually means bracing your arm against your chest and not holding the camera at arms length. There\’s most likely a picture or drawing in your camera manual on the correct way to hold the camera. Also, as you compose your picture, make sure there are no objects between you and your subject. If you\’re using flash, you camera may try to adjust the exposure for the object in the foreground and not your subject. Always try to simplify your composition. Try to make it clear to anyone viewing the image what the subject is. In a word, simplify.
\nOne last suggestion. Get a good quality digital print made from your favorite images. I recommend either local camera store that does in-house printing, or one of the on the internet digital printers. I think you will be much more satisfied with some of the better-known on the web digital print services instead of the local drugstore. Also, getting a good quality digital print made online is usually cheaper than trying to print digital photos yourself, and the results are usually superior.
