digital printers – Digital Pic Printing – The New Revolution

Thanks for stopping by our website. Are you fed up of getting mediocre information, when you have put so much effort into getting the best? We are one of the leading sources of information on the subject so you are definitely at the right place.

Have a read of the article below... we are sure you will find it dots all the 'i's', and crosses all the 't's'. On our site we strive to provide the most up-to-date information. Remember that you read it here first, and please tell your friends.

Digital pic printing has revolutionized the way photo printing is done. There is no use if you keep storing all the images you shot on your digital camera on the personal hard disk or on the memory card. To care about them more you need to print out those photographs. It will be a great idea to see all those fantastic digital pictures as hard copy or printed photographs. Let us now see how we could go about digital pic printing. \n

The fun part of digital photo printing is you can do it at home! But before that you need to take into account the following that\’ll get you started: \n

First purchase a good printer. You dont need more than ink jet printer – at least six colors to start with. \n

Secondly, purchase photo-editing software. Look for simple software under $100 that has more automatic features like color correction, brightness control; auto focus etc. next step is to get good quality paper. Dont compromise on this; invest in thick glossy paper which will give you high quality prints. Another important thing that you need to take into account is the DPI or dots per inch. For normal 4 by 6 inches prints 300 dpi is adequate. For 5 by 7 or 8 by 10 you can go up to 600 dpi. Depending on your printer and software you might be able to print up to 1200 dpi, which is more than adequate. \n

Digital pic printing requires few components that make up the total process of printing. There are lots of good printers designed exclusively for the sake of printing digital camera pics. These printers are sold along with cartridges and photo papers and not meant for printing everyday document. These digital printers can transfer the images from your digital camera onto photo paper with great degree of quality and perfection. Generally the ink and paper are sold together when you purchase a good printer and it will cost roughly 30 – 70 cents on an average per print. The ideal part is the printers themselves have become affordable and very inexpensive. \n

Another advantage in digital photo printing using these inexpensive printers is you don\’t require a computer for their functioning. You can print directly from the digital camera. Some cameras also enable the users to connect directly to a PictBridge compatible printer using USB cable. Some printers include memory card slots, which make it really easy to print images direct without even using up the battery in your camera! Few examples of these great printers are: Canons Selphy DS700 and CP330; among many others. \n

Hope you got some good idea about the various digital photo-printing devices. Make sure that before starting to use, play around with the settings take a few test print outs on ordinary paper and then migrate to high-priced pic paper. And most important dont forget to have fun while you enjoy the digital photo printing experience!

Pentax digital – Digital Cameras and Obtaining the Ideal Consumer Tips

Welcome to our website, which is devoted to the subject. Thousands of people search the internet looking for information about this every month. We have pulled all the best information together and put it under one roof.

We have separated the key issues and put them on their own pages to make them easier to access. You will find the posts highly informative, and while here, have a look at the comments as well. There are lots of great suggestions from our readers, in fact, share your own suggestions, we would love to hear them.

Before you do though, check out the article below: it is intelligently written and the author makes some insightful points.

If it turns out you\’re purchasing an item like a Sony LCS CSG Soft Genuine Leather Carrying Case it does not always mean purchasing a digital camera product from a consumer electronics or digital photography focused world wide web store, pretend for a moment you are residing in Maryland for instance, a digital camera internet directory should be able to give the contact information of closely situated digital camera merchants who will hopefully be able to help you to find the digital camera you require. \n

Now if you should seek data on 4x Optical Zoom kits it might possibly be better to use the information in a digital camera website in order to initiate contact with a digital camera specialist, by doing this you\’ll doubtless get access to a fair amount of digital camera help for free. \n

The digital camera specialists will be capable offering you a lot of prime niche assistance on matters such as getting the best deals on Kodak Digital Camera Bags and how to acquire the proper product guarantee whenever obtaining a digital camera, their digital camera expertise will surely help you get the ideal product for your needs. \n

Quite a bit of digital camera expertise with the aid of the web can be acquired in the USA, Australia and a whole host of nations, digital photography directories should supply anyone with the details of nationally located digital camera suppliers so purchasing digital cameras from your global region is faster and more convenient than in times gone by. \n

With the right method digital camera knowledge might easily be accessed extremely rapidly, if you take your time when implementing your digital camera research and you will not go far wrong, if you require specialized advice on merchandise like C 60 Digital Cameras then see if you can find a number of expert digital camera reviews. \n

This digital camera research tip is extremely useful, instead of just searching for a search term such as \’digital cameras \’, you should definitely use of a longer search engine phrase like\’book digital photo\’ or \’digital mart photo wal\’, by searching this way your results will be highly focused to your individual digital camera stipulations. \n

Most on the internet photography research can uncover a vast number of items, even though good digital camera portals will often have a ton of digital camera products, this might often be really overwhelming, Canon PowerShot S1 IS 3 2 MP Digital Cameras, Reef Master SL155 Sealife DC500 Underwater Digital Camera Pro Sets, todays consumers have so many items to pick from nowdays, it might then be difficult to decide the appropriate item to order. \n

A substantial number of digital camera merchants ought to be helpful and a small minority really poor, if someone needs local photography guidance it might very well be best to send your local sources of digital camera expertise a brief email, make it as clear as you can and include something a lot like this \’are you able to aid me with Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Cameras or Slim Digital Cameras\’, the contents on the email depend on what sort of digital camera product you are mostly interested in. \n

If you couldnt get the photography feedback you\’re needing from a digital camera manufacturer then possibly you\’re researching in the incorrect place, for example, imagine your subject of interest was Sony VCLDH1730 Telephoto Conversion lens, it would possibly be smarter for you to check out a particular photography portal. \n

A huge amount of digital camera targeted guides you\’ll locate on the internet are all about assisting people to purchase specific digital camera products such as Kodak 256MB Secure Digital Memory Cards and LEICA CAMERA 18292 C Lux 1 6 Megapixel Digital Cameras, searching for this type of digital camera guidance can often turn out to be very frustrating indeed.

How to take amazing digital photos of your friends and family

The article below about the subject has received a lot of interest, more than any other on our site. We believe it's because it pulls no punches. Yet, while it's an important issue, it's not all doom and gloom, there is another point of view that some find quite unorthodox, but workable.

This article has proven to be very useful to our readers and they come back regularly to keep abreast of the latest developments. While the subject remains an important subject, it's always an added bonus when you can be enlightened, and even amused by being shown the other side of the issue. Some things are not always what they seem. Read on for more insight.

Children and a Camera – probably the most difficult, but creatively satisfying way of archiving your lifes wonderful moments. \n

Shooting pictures of children can be more difficult than getting a shot of that awesome dunk or the spectacular home-run hit, because a sports moment is probably more predictable than the expression of a child. Its almost like trying to hit a moving target, except you dont know when your target will show up, and which way it will move! \n

But rest simple – astounding advancements in digital photography, both in terms of technology and lower prices, have made it possible for your special moments to be captured with far superior accuracy and detail than ever before. Newer cameras with improved photo resolution and shutter speed, with the help of spectacular low-cost lenses, help to make it easier for both professional and novice photographers to take excellent pictures. When these features alone can\’t help take the picture you want, fancy software that comes for free with the digital cameras lets your modify the photos to do full justice to the moments they capture. \n

Many believe that great cameras take great photos. Well, theres both good and bad news for you – the good news is that you dont need a $2000 camera and a $3000 lens in order to take an astounding picture; the bad news is that you – the photographer – are the one who can single-handedly make or break an extraordinary pic – all by yourself, just with your \’eye\’ for photography (or the lack of it). \n

Any photographer worth her salt will tell you that when it comes to taking good pics, timing is everything. There is a very small window of opportunity to capture a truly great shot, and whether youre after that exhilarating sunset, or trying to capture that all fleeting expression on your childs face, your fingers must have precision, timing and an intuitive sense of when to click. It is tougher than it looks, and thats why photography is an art. \n

Similar to the famous saying, beautiful pictures lie in the eye of the photographer, and not in the camera. \n

Famous photographers charge thousands of dollars to take a picture. It isn\’t because they\’ve superior cameras or high-priced lenses (even though that does matter, but not as much as you probably think), but because they know what to focus on, and when to click. \n

Most of us only come close to getting the best shot, never fully realizing it in the end. More often than not, our pictures have most of the elements, but fall short in a few key areas: Perhaps you frame your subject well, but the lighting is just a tiny bit off; or perhaps the lighting is good but you forgot to include a flash or use red-eye reduction. \n

This is where modern digital photography becomes a necessary component in taking the perfect pic. Within minutes, just about any picture can be edited to reach its full potential when it is created with a digital camera. Automatic color enhancement, red-eye reduction, and zoom and crop features that go along with taking digital photos are just a few of the many awesome features that digital photos have to offer. With these tools in simple reach, taking beautiful pictures has become easier than ever. \n

It is then a no-brainer that you should be buying a digital camera, and not a film-based camera, for obvious reasons: you can shoot as many pictures as you want, repeatedly, till you get that perfect picture, without having to worry about burning through tens if not hundreds of dollars worth of film rolls, development and printing costs. Plus when shot using popular formats like RAW, the things you can do to your photos before you print or publish them, are mind boggling. \n

All you need is to find the right camera. You want a camera that offers great photos as well as simple options for downloading to your printer or personal. You can edit your photos as you like with commercial programs like Photoshop or Corel, or with software that comes with the camera, like Canons EasyBrowser. \n

Technology has advanced so much and there is so much competition amongst camera makers, that the prices are now so attractive which makes it very hard to mention money as an excuse. \n

The hardest choice then becomes what type of camera to buy: – a Point-and-click (that has a built-in, permanent lense), or – a SLR (Single Lens Reflex – whose lenses can be removed and changed). \n

Point-and-click cameras are meant for the average person, who doesnt want to be bothered with too many options or choices – someone who wants to just point at the target, and click, and be done with it. The average auto-focus camera comes with an in-built zoom lens, has a tiny flash bulb, has a little screen behind the camera where you can see the full frame of what you are about to shoot, as well as a preview of the pic after youve shot it. \n

They take great photos, no doubt. But they have the ability to, in no way, be compared to the pictures taken by the slightly more expensive SLR cameras. \n

An SLR camera comes with the capability to switch lenses, so that you can choose the right lens for that super-close up picture of that bee pollinating a flower, or the perfect wide-angle lens to capture the entire view of the Grand Canyon from where you stand. \n

Other features that make a SLR a much better choice for taking great pictures that last a lifetime, are: \n

* Built for speed – Super fast start-up speed so that you never have to miss that perfect moment because it took your camera 20 seconds to get to ready-to-shoot say. * Accurate \’what you see is what you get\’ picture when you compose your shots through the view finder instead of the LCD display. In fact, the LCD display on an SLR won\’t show you a preview of your current composition, but will only show you the photo after youve shot it. * A wide choices of lenses: Youre not stuck with just one lens like you would with a point-and-click camera. You have the option of buying and using a variety of lenses to match just what you\’re about to shoot. * Better photos in low light – Due to the ability to vary aperture, a SLR lens can open the aperture long enough to let in more light in low-light situations, or click faster in a very-bright situation (like a bright overhead sun). \n

When you\’re ready to buy your digital camera, you need to take the price into consideration, but it is more important to consider the features of the camera that you buy. It is the features that\’ll help you to make the most of your pictures. You will not need an feature filled camera if you\’re only using it for recreational purposes. However if you plan to do a lot with your photos, you\’ll want a camera that offers the right features for you. \n

Although I own a Canon Rebel XTi myself and cannot suggest it highly enough, here are some digital SLR cameras to consider: \n

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi: http://amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000I1ZWRW/nosim-20 This is what I own – a 10.1 MP (Mega-pixel) camera that takes phenomenal picutures, and offers a great combination of performance, ease-of-use and value. It comes with a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, a integrated cleaning system featuring a self-cleaning sensor that vibrates the sensor to shake-off dust, all of this in a very light, ergonomic body. \n

Nikon D80: http://amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000HGIWN4/nosim-20 This is a 10.2 Megapixel camera with instant 0.18 sec. start-up, and fast 80ms shutter response. Grants continuous shooting at up to 3 frames per second and up to 100 consecutive JPEG images. Takes about 2,700 images per battery charge as per Nikon. Has a similar 2.5\’ LCD color monitor with 170-degree, wide-angle viewing. A tiny more expensive than the Canon Rebel XTi. \n

Sony A100: http://amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000DZH60O/nosim-20 A 10 Megapixel CCD, that has quite similar features to the Canon and Nikon, like Anti-Dust system, 2.5\’ LCD amd 9-point autofocus. The distinguishing feature of the Sony A100 is the Super SteadyShot® image stabilization feature that moves the CCD to compensate for camera shake. This will come in handy especially when shooting in low-light situations, where the aperture opens more to let in more light, which means it could take a lot longer for the \’click\’ than in normal-light conditions, and both the photographer (you) and the targets (your kids, friends or family) have a greater tendency to not stay still for that few precious seconds. \n

Canon and Nikon overcome this by incorporating image stabilization features into the lens, instead of into the camera itself like Sony does. This leads to slightly more high-priced lenses, but some believe that lenses do a superior job of handling \’shake\’ rather than the cameras themselves. So, this is one more thing for you to take into account while making the choice between say, a Canon and a Sony. \n

Finally, the bottomline is cameras can only enhance a great picture – they can\’t create it from scratch. You are the one who has the ability to elevate an ordinary shot into an amazing one with your sense of timing, angle, and composition. So, depending on your own internal \’brand\’ preference, any of the above cameras would make a great choice. \n

To see how others have shot pictures of their little ones, check out the worlds cutest baby pictures at http://www.BabyNamesIndia.com/pictures.html . Afer that, head over to Amazon.com, read the reviews, do your research, and take your time in deciding which digital SLR is right for you. \n

If you are thinking that deciding which camera to buy is a difficult task, wait till you have that beautiful camera in your hand, and you wait for your little one to come up with that same expression that he\’d on his/her face last week, when you missed taking a photo because you had a slow and tedious point-and-shoot camera in hand! \n

Take astonishing photos that last a life time. Get a digital SLR.

Get the best deal on a digitial camera!

Digital Camera Prices – How to REALLY Get the Ideal Deal \n

When dealing with digital camera prices, avoid your natural tendency of \’buy low, sell high.\’ What do we mean? \n

Lets say youre interested in purchasing a Canon digital SLR. Once youre sure you have identified your best camera, you search the internet and photography magazines for the best price. In this example, the \’retail\’ price for the Canon body is $700 (remember – SLRs are only the camera body, which can be mated to a variety of individually bought lenses). \n

After checking a variety of sources for discounted digital camera prices, you determine the best prices for this specific Canon digital SLR runs between $570-$590. What do you do? \n

I buy it from the place selling it for $570, of course! \n

Not so fast. If you have only purchased from traditional retail outlets, you need to familiarize yourself with some on-line buying strategies… \n

* Shipping prices vary significantly depending upon who you purchase it from. \n

* Tax may or might not be charged. \n

* Therefore, when purchasing ANYTHING on the web (i.e., from a non-retail outlet), only consider the entire cost of digital camera + tax + shipping. \n

* So, lets reevaluate the first point again. The Canon digital SLR body alone may range between $570-$590, but when figuring out true digital camera prices, use the formula above. \n

Now, we discover that the real total cost for your Canon (Nikon, Fuji, or whatever) ranges between $587 – $629. Now, were getting somewhere. \n

* Do you run out and order from the $587 place? If you say \’yes,\’ youve made a rookie internet purchasing mistake. \n

I know, I know. Youre chomping at the bit. You know what you want, you found the \’best\’ price (you think), you\’ve your credit card in hand… why shouldnt you buy now? Because youre using \’retail store\’ mentality to buy on the web. \n

When looking for the best digital camera prices on the internet, there are new considerations that only experience (or, http://best-family-photography-tips.com/) can teach you. Here are the most important points: \n

* Is the Canon in stock? There\’s often a mysterious correlation between the cheapest prices and product unavailability. You dont want to order your digital camera and then have it sit on backorder for 6 weeks, do you? \n

* Does your Nikon come with a USA warranty or is it whats called \’grey goods?\’ You want to verify its a USA warranty, unless you dont mind having to service it internationally. \n

* What is the customer service level of the seller? You can find out by checking up on them before you buy at http://www.pricegrabber.com/rating_summary.php/form_keyword=/sort=1/form_keyword2=/. Personally, I wont buy from anyone who doesnt have at least a 4 out of 5 star rating AND plenty of history. \n

* The last \’test\’ I use before purchasing at the best total digital camera prices is my gut. I\’ve walked away from deals after speaking with certain order entry people. Lets face it, if youre older than 25, you start to develop of sense of who NOT TO BELIEVE when they say \’trust me.\’ \n

* Finally, always order with a credit card because if something goes wrong, the credit card company can be your greatest friend. \n

OK. Youve done it! Youre about to congratulate yourself on uncovering the best digital camera prices, from the ideal vendor, with great delivery, etc. Theres just one more thing to be aware of… \n

The Insidious \’Package Deal\’ Sales Technique \n

Heres how this approach goes. Using the same example figures above for our wonderful Canon digital SLR, you found a vendor who is willing to sell you the Canon body + tax + shipping for the fantastic price of $515 (remember, the true range you had previously determined was $587 – $629). \n

In the land of ideal digital camera prices, this is known as \’winning the lotto.\’ So, what do you do? You jump on it of course! But, heres how the end of this telephone order typically goes… \n

(Seller) Congratulations. You just got a great deal. And, would you believe that we have a super-saver package on this Canon which includes the EF 28-200mm lens for an unbelievable package price of $1,000. (That puts the cost of this lens at $485, when you can buy it anywhere for $360, but you dont know that. Maybe thats what they meant by \’unbelievable.\’) \n

(You) Well, I already have 6 lenses, so I dont need anymore. \n

(Seller) No problem. You do know how these new digital SLRs eat up memory. We\’ve a 2GB memory card that we currently have a promotion on. Its normally $460 (really $220) that theyre allowing us to sell for only $375 with the purchase of a camera. \n

(You) [Since you do know youll need memory, and havent had time yet to see what a good price for accessories of digital camera prices are, you might agree. Instead, however, you let the seller know that youre holding off on memory right now.] \n

(Seller) [Knowing its his last chance...] Ok, then. Lets just pick out a solid camera bag so at least your camera will be secure. (His point is valid, but what hes going to try to sell you is a $120 camera bag that you can buy anywhere for $49.95.) \n

(You) I already have 3 bags, so Ill pass. How soon can I anticipate delivery on my Canon? \n

(Seller) Let me check the computer. Oh, I cant believe this… while we were on the phone, the last 3 Canons were sold, so we dont have any more. But, Ill be happy to take your order and ship yours as soon as it comes in (read as \’never\’). \n

Of course, the actual phone conversation may be slightly different, substituting extended warranties and batteries for camera bag and memory, but you get the picture. \n

Bottom line, when looking for the best digital camera prices, consider all the costs and buy from someone you can trust. \n

He went digital and still shoots film. Should you?

There has always been a debate about what is better. Traditional cameras using film, or the so called new technology, storing pictures in digital form on memory cards, in personal or on CD-ROM.
As being a photographer for more than half of my life, I stuck with traditional film for very long. About 7 years ago I started to supplement my work with photos taken the digital way. A point and shoot camera with just 640480 pixel resolution was the most attractive gadget I had these days. Its lens was even capable of doing close-up work, using a macro switch. That Fujifilm DX-7 was upgraded with a larger Memory-Card and the camera served me well for several years. Anyway, over time, I was still more satisfied with the possibilities my collection of Pentax SLR cameras gave me. It started with using the best lenses for each picture or just using a Zoom (which offers a range from wide angle to telephoto), changing the shutter speed to either stop or blur the motion of objects in the picture, use external flashlights, change the aperture openings to adjust the range of sharpness and lots more. Not forgetting the superior picture quality I could get from a 35mm negative or slide. I was happy to use my heavy, solid metal camera. \n

The world changed for me when camera makers like Nikon and Canon introduced their Digital SLR Cameras. I went to my local camera shop every week and debated with the salesman about advantages and disadvantages of the models they\’d on sale. Also I checked with lots of users in online services to get first hand feedback on how these cameras performed. Finally, when Pentax introduced their Digital SLRs, I couldnt wait much longer. I needed to have one of those. With the Pentax 1st DS have a whole list of advantages over smaller Digital Cameras: \n

I can use the same lenses that fit my traditional camera
Have full control over speed and aperture
I have the ability to see the picture immediately after it is taken
I can shoot a series of pictures and select the ideal (at no extra cost for film or paper)
A good resolution of 6 Megapixel which allows quite massive prints
It weights more than a compact digital camera, so you can hold it steady more easily
Make use of all the filters, flashlights, lenses and accessories I have collected over the years.
Storing the photos on the Computer via a fast USB connection
Up to 1 GB storage on a SD Memory Card (about 380 jpg photos)
Selecting only the best photos for printing
\n

With all these advantages of digital SLR Cameras, you may wonder why I still keep my old 35mm film cameras with me. First, it is emotional, and second, photographing the old fashioned way keeps me calm. You just need more time to produce an excellent, satisfying photograph (because you cannot see the result right after the shot).

SANYO Xacti HD2 Offers Next-Generation Performance Upgrades Including a New 7.38-Megapixel Sensor, Up to 76% Greater Low-Light Sensitivity and an HDMI Digital Interface\n\nLAS VEGAS, January 8, 2007, CES Central Hall Booth #11017 – Packed with performance upgrades including a new 7.38-megapixel CCD image sensor that dramatically improves low-light sensitivity, the new SANYO Xacti HD2 is the world’s smallest and lightest high-definition digital video camera* and the highly anticipated next-generation follow-up to 2006’s innovative and multi award-winning HD1 and HD1a series. \nThe SANYO Xacti HD2 combines the functionality of a 720p high-definition digital camcorder and 7.1-megapixel digital still camera into one ergonomic, pocket-sized device. For optimized performance, a new HDMI digital interface, built into the HD2’s multifunction docking station, provides an all-digital output to HDTVs and high-definition video recorders. Featuring a one-of-a-kind pistol-grip and thumb-operable design, the HD2 can record up to 21 minutes of high-definition video (or up to one hour of standard-definition video) per gigabyte of available memory on any standard SD or high-capacity SDHC card (memory cards sold separately). Using a single 8-gigabyte SDHC card, HD2 users can easily and spontaneously shoot nearly three hours of high-definition video, up to eight hours of standard-definition video or thousands of 7.1-megapixel digital still images.\n “The enormous worldwide demand for the high-definition HD1 series inspired and invigorated SANYO’s design team to significantly raise the performance bar on the HD2,” stated John Lamb, Senior Marketing Manager for SANYO Fisher Company’s Audio Video Division. “Increased low-light sensitivity is just one example of how the HD2 has been engineered to provide a more satisfying user experience than ever before.”\nSporting a stylish blue graphite body, the SANYO Xacti HD2 will be available in the U.S. in March 2007 at an MSRP of $699.99**. \nThe Xacti HD2 responds to light as low as 12.5 lux in auto mode. This represents an up to 75% increase in low-light sensitivity when compared to the 50 lux auto mode capability of the previous models, the HD1 and HD1a. The HD2 responds to light as low as 6 lux, in lamp mode, representing an up to 76% increase in low-light sensitivity when compared to the 25 lux ability of the HD1 and HD1a. The HD2 features a special “High Sensitivity” button, allowing users to swiftly switch from standard sensitivity mode and shoot in a wide variety of low-light situations. \nSuper-fast begin up\nThe Xacti HD2 high-definition video camera is designed for super fast start-up and shooting. With no tape to queue up, simply open the display and the HD2 automatically powers up and is ready to record in as little as 1.7 seconds. \nImage Stabilization\nThe SANYO Xacti HD2 features a digital image stabilization that works across the full shooting range from wide-angle to telephoto. Using an original corrective algorithm developed by SANYO, the HD2 is able to distinguish between “trembling hands” and “camera work” such as panning and tilting. \n1280 x 720 progressive HD video scanning \nThanks to highly efficient MPEG-4 technology, the HD2 is able to create richly detailed high-definition 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) videos at 30 frames per second. That’s up to three times more pixels than standard conventional video cameras. \nHigh-definition engine \n The SANYO Xacti HD2 is powered by high-precision LSI (large-scale integration) circuitry for advanced, high-definition image processing. This powerful “high-definition engine” processes a vast number of calculations and enables the HD2 to realize image processing functions such as high-definition 720p processing, real-time MPEG-4 compression and noise reduction. \nSuper-fast 9Mbs frame rate \nThe SANYO HD2 high-definition digital video camera features an accelerated frame rate in the HD mode that is more than four times faster than earlier digital cameras. Transmitting data at 9 megabits per seconds ensures that camera and subject motion are smooth and natural, without the image lag or distortion that might occur in slower-responding systems. \n10x optical zoom\n The HD2 features a generous and highly efficient 10x optical zoom lens. Built from 12 elements designed in 9 groups and with a built-in neutral density filter, the 10x zoom lens has a maximum aperture of f/3.5 in both wide and telephoto angles, allowing for clear images in lower light situations. Combined with a 10x digital zoom capability, the HD2 is capable of a total 100x zoom.\n2.2-inch LCD display\n The HD2 features a huge Sanyo-developed 2.2-inch LCD display with 210,000 total pixels for exceptionally clear viewing. The display flips out from the camera and rotates up to 285 degrees on axis for taking great video or still images even in difficult locations. \nDigital video and stills, all in one \n The HD2 can record 7.1-megapixel still images in addition to 720p video clips. It can even snap a still image while recording high-definition (1280 x 720-pixel) digital video with a easy press of the shutter button during the shooting of a video clip.***\nVideo recording optimized for personal media players \n The HD2’s “Web-SHQ” recording mode is designed specifically to capture video destined for video iPod and other popular MPEG-4 capable personal media players. For optimal playback on such devices, video is captured at a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and a smooth and natural 30 frames per second.\n16:9 still shooting\n A selectable 16:9 shooting mode allows users to capture stills in the same widescreen format as their high-definition videos for eye-catching viewing on a 16:9 TV screen.\nConvenient in-camera video editing\n The HD2 offers enhanced video editing functions, enabling quick A>B deletions and easy combining of video clips. In-camera editing makes it easy to remove unwanted material and helps conserve memory card space. \nVery small, very light\nLightweight at only 8.3 ounces (including battery and a standard SD memory card), the HD2 measures 3.1? W x 4.7? H x 1.4? D. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOther SANYO Xacti HD2 features include:\n- 16:9 widescreen format (HD-SHQ / HD-HQ modes)\n- Rapid 7.1-megapixel sequential still shooting\n- High-quality 48 kHz, 16-bit, stereo AAC-LC sound (MPEG-4 Audio)\n- Convenient pop-up flash \n- HD/Norm switch for simple video mode changes\n- Speaking navigation guide for first-time users\n- Super Macro shooting down to 1 cm (W) / 1 m (T)\n- Self timer (2 seconds / 10 seconds)\n- Voice recorder function\n- Red-eye reduction mode\n- Multifunction compact docking/charging station with HDMI, Component, S-Video/AV output\n- High-capacity SANYO rechargeable Lithium-ion battery\n- Remote control included\n- Exif Print and Print Image Matching III\n- PictBridge-capable for PC-Free printing with PictBridge-compatible printers\n\nSANYO Xacti HD2 optional accessories include:\n- NEW Belt-clip Holster Case (VCP-HCX1) $19.99**\n- 0.6x Wide-angle Lens Adapter (VCP-L06WU) $99.99**\n- 1.4x Telephoto Lens Adapter (VCP-L14TU) $99.99**\n- 49mm Lens Filter Adapter (VCP-AL49) $17.99**\n- L40 Battery Charging Cradle (VAR-L40U) $39.99**\n- Original SANYO L40 Battery (DB-L40AU) $49.99**\n\n\n\nSANYO Electric Co., Ltd. is a $20 billion manufacturer and distributor of consumer and commercial electronics, including multimedia and telecommunication products. Three Keys to Trade Show Photography

Many people want to know more about the subject. Are you one of them? If so, you might find the following article helpful in your search for information. We hope you find some useful pointers.

Trade show photography has one of the largest formats of all photography. Because of this, the professional trade show photographer can magically make the clients logo jump out on the trade show exhibit, have the trade show display look modern and contemporary, and can reproduce beautiful artwork in some of the biggest displays and settings that photography is used. \n

When you\’re planning to have a trade show exhibit, it is essential to pre-qualify photographers who have experience in trade show display shooting. Your photographer must be familiar with and can handle the demands of producing oversized, exciting, compelling and crystal clear trade show display images. The effective trade show exhibit professional photographer is able to capture very massive pic images in a dramatic way. Ideally he/she will shoot with top- of- the line Nikon, Canon or medium format digital cameras that purposefully translate images to massive formats. \n

Christian Tanimoto, trade show photographer, re-toucher, and graphics production assistant at Professional Exhibits & Graphics of Sunnyvale, California -a premiere trade show display company, says that because of the huge size stipulation, trade show photography must adhere to special requirements. He gives advice on the three most important ingredients for shooting trade show display images. They are: \n

#1. The size of the digital file is key–the bigger, the superior. All photos used for trade show displays need to be on a file that is ideally 12 to 16 or more mega pixels. It is always ideal to begin with a digital file format in order to achieve a highly accurate resolution. \n

#2. Use an uncompressed raw file. It is best to use a file that has does not need to be compressed so that you can have big prints that don\’t look pixilated. The images must look sharp. By using an uncompressed file, you will avoid the posterized or rasterized appearance. Your trade show display design panel artwork will be crisp, clear and have many levels of tone. If photography isn\’t shot in a huge digital format, the artwork needs to be converted from either film, slides, or negatives. The images then need to be scanned, downloaded and compressed into a digital file. \n

#3. Attach color profiles to digital files. By having a large enough color pallet with a wide range of colors, you will be able to choose and print true color. Accessing a color profile, the designer can interpret the correct color. You\’ll then be able to accurately communicate color and color match your website and collateral materials seamlessly. \n

Eye catching, stylish trade show photography can be used on a vast spectrum of trade show displays– from the small trade show kiosk exhibit to the custom free-standing multi-story trade show exhibit with integrated office, meeting room and theater arenas. \n

Trade show photography is some of the most exciting photography displayed and needs to always look beautiful and exciting, advises Tanimoto. This is equally true if you\’re purchasing stock photography for your trade show exhibit. Having a huge digital file is the key, whether the artwork is used in a custom trade show exhibit, a custom modular trade show display, or a rental trade show booth. \n

Remember the above tips for impactful trade show photography, and you\’ll have a breath- taking and beautiful trade show exhibit with exceptional graphics. This is true wherever you exhibit–be it the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, the Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland, the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the Santa Clara Convention Center or the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Top of the Line Digital Cameras

Are you looking for information about the subject? Here in this blog, we will tackle the different aspects, fundamentals and other points of interest about the subject. Many readers and enthusiasts find that this blog is a great place to start if you are new to the subject.

We provide detailed resources like photos, articles, videos and links that may be of good use for those who want to make a more detailed study about it.

If you think that digital cameras are for snapshots only, then you obviously have not heard about SLR (Single Lens Reflex) digital cameras. SLR is a type of camera which has one lens for composing the frame and capturing the image. SLR cameras are also known as TTL (through-the-lens) cameras.

An SLR camera displays an image through the viewfinder that is exactly the same image as the camera sees and is exactly the same image that the camera is going to record when you release the shutter.

An SLR camera provides a much more accurate image through the viewfinder than a digital camera produces on its LCD because the LCD does not faithfully reproduce the colors and light intensity that is actually entering the camera.

The top of the line SLR digital cameras rival the ideal film-based SLR cameras and are designed for serious hobbyists and professional photographers. Digital SLR cameras are much more massive, bulkier, and heavier than traditional digital cameras.

The SLR uses a mirror that\’s located behind the lens as well as an optical device known as a pentaprism to channel the light that enters the camera\’s lens to the optical finder. When you release the shutter the mirror moves out of the way and the image is captured in the same way as any digital camera.

The better digital SLR cameras let you mount different lenses just like their film-based counterparts do. Many of your existing 35mm lens might be compatible with a digital SLR. If you have a big lens collection then you should definitely look for a digital SLR that is compatible with them.

Because the digital SLR cameras are more professional, they come with a hefty price tag. A 6-megapixel Nikon D100 runs around $2,000 and the 11-megapixel Canon 1D runs near $8,000. This is for the camera body only and does not include a lens! This is why I mentioned earlier that you should look for a digital camera that\’ll mount your existing lens collection. Just a good quality zoom lens can run you at least $3,000 and can climb as high as $10,000 depending upon the features!

Of course, there are also starter-priced digital SLR cameras available. The Olympus E-20N, a 5.0-megapixel SLR camera, which includes a non-replaceable lens that is capable of copying a 35 mm to 140 mm lens, runs around $3500.

These prices are not out of line if you make your living shooting pictures. You can actually create additional revenue streams when you shoot digital pictures, instead of film-based ones, by offering image enhancement options and all sorts of digital FX options for thee prospective bride and groom\’s on their treasured wedding album.

If all of this sounds a bit too pricey for your blood, then you will probably find all of the digital camera that you\’ll ever need way down in the $99 to $500 price range and you\’ll never have to worry about buying extra lenses. Digital SLR cameras aren\’t for everyone but, if they\’re for you, then there are plenty of models to look at. SOme of the best are made by Canon, Olympus and Nikon which are familiar names in the photography world.
